Meet Chloe and Georgie our two lovely girls.

Georgie (left) "Retgold Medusa at Melmand" is the eldest of our
two girls, (now retired).
Chloe (right) "Cailloch Prima-Donna" is the youngest and the one
that we are showing at the moment.
Chloe has performed well at both Championship and Open Shows and has qualified
for Crufts 2006.
Amongst her successes where Best Puppy Bitch at Birmingham National 2005,
Second in Junior and third in Yearling, both at Midland Counties 2005.
February 2006 Chloe was Semi finalist at the Midlands Golden Retriever Club Pup
of the Year Show.
She has been regularly placed first at Open Show level as well.

Chloe is trained at home (see picture on right) and also at
Sandon Ringcraft where both myself and my wife Sylvia have
been training dogs for over thirty years.
I started taking an interest in dog showing when I met my wife Sylvia in
1956. Sylvia's mother ran
a small boarding kennels and bred Golden Retrievers.
Attending local dog shows with Sylvia I soon became addicted and started showing
dogs.
As I became more interested in the world of dog showing, I started stewarding
under the
guidance of the Rev. Gibson Barber.
After several years of stewarding and gaining experience from many of the well
known judges at
Championship Shows all over the midlands, I took my first judging appointment in
1981 judging
Golden Retrievers.
In 1987 we purchased our first Flatcoat Retriever from Mrs. Vivian Kendal,
"Visam Mai Tai of Melmand".I judged my first Flatcoat Retriever classes in 1989.
Sylvia has shown dogs from an early age starting with her mothers dogs and then
her own.
In 1985 Sylvia had her first judging appointment at Oakengates Canine Society,
since
then she has judged both Flatcoat and Golden Retrievers.
